The primary hindrance of faith is the misunderstanding of the sin of Adam, believing it as simply an act of disobedience, of course and more, entailing partaking of the carnal nature, falling out of harmony with God becoming separated, having died spiritually.
Biblically, the narrative of the fall of Adam representing humanity, consists of complex interplays of the reality of man’s relationship with God, and of man’s need of prudent judgment, and of the encounter between man and the adversary of the souls of humanity, Satan.
Underlying the contextual imagery of the narrative portrays the nature of the evils of deception, conveying our need to recognize the characteristics of subtilty, meaning knowing the intent, tone and voice of craftiness and cunningness, so not to yield to temptations cloaked in deceit and deception, called Sin.
